3,000 people will get a J-Mac bobblehead at the July 26th Red Wings game.

He has a movie deal, an ESPY, he's met many Hollywood celebrities and now Jason McElwain has a bobblehead. J-Mac, the autistic Greece Athena basketball manager, inspired millions when he scored 20 points in four minutes in his only varsity game last season. Now ESL Federal Credit Union will be giving away the J-Mac bobbleheads to the first 3,000 people at next Wednesday’s Red Wings game against Charlotte. Game time is 7:05pm but gates open at 6:00pm.

What are people saying about mortgages today:

Rates on 30-year mortgages edged down last week to a seven-month low. Mortgage-giant Freddie Mac reported Thursday that 30-year, fixed-rate mortgages fell to 6.3 percent, down slightly from 6.31 percent two weeks ago. It put rates at the lowest level since they were at 6.24 percent the first week of March.

Bank of Hawaii, Central Pacific Bank, Territorial Savings Bank and Wells Fargo Home Mortgages all cut their 30-year mortgage rates to 5.75 percent this week.
